EE-Blox Electronic Learning Modules

I am introducing a line of learning modules that I am calling “EE-Blox”, a modular Electronics Learning System.

What I want to do is  twofold

  • I want to allow people with the kind of interest in Electronics that I did when I was first starting out, to learn and explore the basic building blocks much in the same way I did.
  • The modules are also usable as semi-permanent building blocks in larger designs; rather than the copious wires that plague a design using a solderless-breadboard, the EE-Blox allow swapping of parts values and then with the touch of a soldering iron, the module becomes a stable reusable block that can be relied upon to perform it’s function.

All EE-Blox are laid out with the footprint of our development system, a kind of pegboard for mounting EE-Blox which I will be showing a little later.

Common to all modules is a mounting footprint on .5″ centers and a common power connector  The power connector is the same as the 2.5″ floppy drives and are laid out to be compatible for dual voltages allowing a PC power supply to be used in some cases.
